Places local to Macclesfield where you can find support

Macclesfield Library:

The Library runs IT buddy sessions on Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons that cost £2 per session for one hour of one-to-one support. Contact the Library to book or for more information about their services. They also offer computers, wifi access and resources via People’s Network Computers. You can get access to so much ranging from streamed music to Local and Family History.

IT Drop-in at Shopmobility

Disability Information Bureau offer IT Drop-in Monday to Friday, 12-4 p.m. at Shopmobility, Churchill Way , Macclesfield more information.

AgeUK

AgeUK Macclesfield offer courses, one to one sessions, and Drop-ins (Monday 10am to 12 noon and Wednesday 3.30pm to 4.30pm) – more information.

Macclesfield College

Macclesfield College runs a variety of Computing courses at different levels and  different topics. Contact the college for more information or to book a place.

BBC Webwise – video and other resources to help you get started on the Web and watch TV programmes and films online.

Barclays Digital Eagles – online resources and face to face events provided by Barclays Bank.
