It’s a collection of resources provided by Frances Bell for those who have recently acquired a phone, tablet or computer that connects to the Internet. There are local Macclesfield activities and events where you can get help or training (some of them free), and online resources. Wherever you see some text in blue and underlined, you can click on it to take you the linked web page.

Places local to Macclesfield where you can find support
The Library runs IT buddy sessions on Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons that cost £2 per session for one hour of one-to-one support. Contact the Library to book or for more information about their services. They also offer computers, wifi access and resources via People’s Network Computers. You can get access to so much ranging from streamed music to Local and Family History.
IT Drop-in at Shopmobility
Disability Information Bureau offer IT Drop-in Monday to Friday, 12-4 p.m. at Shopmobility, Churchill Way , Macclesfield more information.
AgeUK Macclesfield offer courses, one to one sessions, and Drop-ins (Monday 10am to 12 noon and Wednesday 3.30pm to 4.30pm) – more information.
